About Coach

Fitness in one way or another has been a huge part of my life. In elementary school, I participated in ballet, tap, jazz, and ice skating. I tried out for the cheerleading team in middle school and immediately fell in love with the difficulty in competitive cheer and stuck with it for six years, completing one year of college cheer. After cheer, along with trying many different types of fitness classes, I kept chasing my goal of running a marathon, completing 8 half marathons until finally gathering the courage to complete a full marathon years later. I have also completed many obstacle races including 3 Tough Mudders and a Spartan Trifecta.

Turning Point

I always loved being active but after I decided to stop cheer I was never fully consistent in prioritizing fitness and nutrition as a lifestyle until I went through a bad breakup. Fitness helped me cope with the breakup in a healthy way as I forced myself to show up to the gym with little to no motivation instead of doing something unproductive. I changed my lifestyle and although I didn't have anyone in my close circle that shared the same passion as me, I started signing up for races and setting new goals to complete by myself and it was the best feeling knowing I could achieve anything I set my mind to physically and mentally.

Motivation & Passion

I have had so many great coaches in my lifetime who were nothing but positive and uplifting and sometimes I felt like they believed in me more than I did in myself. That is the type of coach I desire to be. My goal as a coach is to help someone complete one more rep, motivate them to push a little harder even when they think it isn't possible, become stronger every day, be excited about showing up to the gym, and ultimately falling in love with the process of reaching their goals.
