This policy applies to all information collected or submitted on The FIT 60’s website and our app for iPhone and any other devices and platforms.
Information We Collect
By creating an account with The FIT 60, you give us consent to store your email, password and other personal information within our database. Email addresses are only used for logging in and sending you information or updates about the program, time changes, holiday hours, etc. Passwords are encrypted and filtered before being saved.
If you upload files to The FIT 60, such as an avatar image, we need to store them until you delete them.
Our server software may also store basic technical information, such as your IP address, in temporary memory or logs.
Ads and Analytics
The FIT 60 website, iOS and Android apps are currently ad-free and is included as a free-to-use service that is included with your FIT 60 membership. They also collect aggregate, anonymous statistics, such as the average number of members checked in to a particular class, in order to improve our program and software.
We use the information we collect to operate and improve our website, apps, and customer support.
We do not share personal information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to improve The FIT 60’s program. We may share anonymous, aggregate statistics with outside parties, such as how many members signed up within a particular month.
We may disclose your information in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal requirements; to exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims; to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud or abuse, violations of our policies; or to protect our rights and property.
In the future, we may sell to, buy, merge with, or partner with other businesses. In such transactions, user information may be among the transferred assets.
We implement a variety of security measures to help keep your information secure. For instance, all communication with the app and website requires HTTPS with certificate pinning.
Accessing, Changing, or Deleting Information
You may access or change your information or delete your account from The FIT 60 iOS or Android app.
Deleted information may be kept in backups for up to 90 days. Backups are encrypted and are only accessed if needed for disaster recovery.
The FIT 60 may delete your information at any time and for any reason, such as technical needs, legal concerns, abuse prevention, removal of idle accounts, data loss, or any other reason.
The iOS and Android apps will ask for permission to access your device’s camera and camera roll in order to select an image as your account avatar. Images are stored in a public photo bucket through the S3 service provided by Amazon Web Services. A key is saved within our database for ease of access to the photo bucket, and allows us to display your avatar on your profile screen, when you check into a class and on the scoreboard. By adding an avatar, you acknowledge that you understand this photo bucket is publicly accessible and is not encrypted. As stated in the section above, The FIT 60 may delete your avatar at any time and for any reason.
Class Check Ins
As per The FIT 60 Policy, you must sign into the class you attend before that class has started in order to reserve a spot. Class space is limited due to space and equipment. By signing in, your attendance is visible to all admin accounts as well as your avatar and name.
Submitting a score for a workout is optional. If you choose to submit a score, this score can be seen by any member of The FIT 60 as well as the coaches.
California Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance
We comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.
We never collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13.
International Transfers of Information
Information may be processed, stored, and used outside of the country in which you are located. Data privacy laws vary across jurisdictions, and different laws may be applicable to your data depending on where it is processed, stored, or used.
